Terms of Use

Last updated: 13 August 2026.

These are the rules for using Dad4Kids. We tried to write them so you can read the whole thing in five minutes without falling asleep.

What Dad4Kids is

A personal project: a site of educational math games for children. There is no company behind it — just a father who makes games for his own kids and publishes them free for everyone else. You can reach us by email at hello@dad4kids.com.

The games are free

Every game on the site is free. There are no payments, no subscriptions, and no in-game purchases, and we collect no payment details. If anything paid ever appears, we'll say so in advance and update this page — nothing you're already using will become paid retroactively.

Accounts

An account does one job: it keeps a child's progress from vanishing with a cleared browser or a broken tablet. You can also play without one — every game is open from the first click.

The account is created by a grown-up, with a grown-up's email address. The child registers nothing and enters nothing about themselves. Please keep your password to yourself: whatever happens under your account, we treat as done by you.

If you notice activity in your account that wasn't yours, write to us and we'll help sort it out.

What you may do

Play at home, at school, in a club, in class, with the whole group. Show the games to friends and colleagues. Link to them. Use the site as much and as often as you like — no permission needed.

What not to do

Don't copy the games, code, text, audio, or artwork and republish or sell them. Don't present our games as your own. Don't scrape the site automatically, don't attack it, don't guess other people's passwords, and don't spoil the site for other players. Don't try to reach anyone else's account or progress.

Everything you see here — the games, their code, text, images, and sound — belongs to Dad4Kids. Playing is free; taking copies is not allowed.

Promises we won't make

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it up and working, but we don't promise uninterrupted service: a server can go down, a game can have a bug, and progress saved only in the browser can disappear if the browser clears its own storage.

We also make no promises about learning outcomes. These games are practice that helps — not a replacement for school, a teacher, or your own involvement.

The site changes

We add games, rebuild old ones, and sometimes remove the ones that didn't turn out well. Levels, problems, and the look of the site may change. That's the normal life of the project, and we won't announce every edit.

If something goes wrong

We may close an account if it's being used to attack the site, to spoil things for others, or to break these rules. Before closing anything, we'll email the account address and try to sort it out like human beings.

You can leave whenever you want: write to us and we'll delete the account and everything stored in it. Details are in the privacy policy.

Disagreements

If something feels wrong or unfair, just write to us first at hello@dad4kids.com. Almost everything gets settled in a single email, and we'd rather have no complaints left standing.

Changes to these terms

If the rules change, we'll update the text and the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll email everyone who has an account.
